Fulltone engineered the Queen Bee so that transistors #1 and #2 build up the gain to hit transistor #3 right where it counts, culminating in incredible sustain and distortion that leaves 2-transistor fuzzes in the dust. Users can tame the treble with a passive high-cut tone control or tighten up the bottom end and sculpt to their delight with the smart, lossless 3-position bass switch (positioned prior to transistor #3). Next, you can use the trimmer to adjust the bias of transistor #3 from a range of two to six volts DC, where a slight twist can mean a big change in sound.
